This week the Little Owls went for a walk down to the village post office to send a letter to Mr Pemberton.  Once we got to the post office we found the post box, we went into the shop and asked the lady behind the counter for a stamp. Mrs Harris gave the lady some coins to pay for the stamp and we put it on the letter. We had a look behind the counter and another lady showed us the huge bags the postman used to collect the parcels, then a postman walked into the shop! What good timing! We went outside and posted the letter all together. We’re very excited to see when the letter arrives for Mr P. 
The Little Owls are learning about builders as part of our 'people who help us' topic.  There have been some amazing creations using the bricks and we even had a go at using real tools!  It was great for our hand-eye coordination, managing risk and safety, physical skills and developing our vocabulary.
